English translation, provided for convenience. The French version is the only binding text; in case of any divergence, the French wording prevails.

These terms govern purchases made in the game Knapsack.

Seller

In-app purchases are sold and collected by Apple through the App Store. The publisher receives neither your card number nor your bank details, and has access to no payment data.

What is sold

One kind of product only: bundles of shards, an in-game currency.

What shards are for

Shards buy no advantage in power: no damage, no block, no bag space, no workshop point. That limit is a design rule of the Game.

Buying a world and being able to play it are two distinct things. A paid world can be acquired at any time, even before you have the right to enter it: that right is earned through the required number of wins, and shards do not replace it. A world bought ahead of time stays owned permanently and becomes playable as soon as the wins are reached, with nothing further to pay. The number of missing wins is shown before the purchase.

Delivery

Shards are credited immediately after Apple validates the payment. If the connection is interrupted during the purchase, the receipt is offered again by the App Store at the next launch of the Game and the credit is applied then. One purchase can only be credited once.

Right of withdrawal

Shards are digital content supplied immediately. Under article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply once supply has begun with your express consent.

Refund requests are handled by Apple, which collected the payment: reportaproblem.apple.com. The publisher cannot refund a purchase it did not collect.

When Apple examines such a request, it asks the publisher. The publisher replies with the share of the shards already spent for the purchase concerned, whether they were indeed delivered, and its opinion on the refund. That reply contains no data identifying you. The publisher gives a favourable opinion when the shards have not been spent or were not delivered, and an unfavourable one when they were used to open worlds that remain yours. The decision belongs to Apple, which is not bound by that opinion.

What becomes of shards

Unspent shards are attached to your player identity and restored on your other devices as soon as progress is synchronised.

The Game Settings offer two distinct actions, and they do not have the same consequences:

Both are irreversible.

Future content

A bundle naming a number of worlds covers only the worlds existing at the time of purchase. Worlds added later are not included.
